In 1967
Albert and Isacco Schinasi founded the Italian branch of Hogg Robinson and Gardner Mountain, one of the most renowned Anglo-Saxon brokers. In these early years, relationships were established with prominent Italian entrepreneurs, primarily in Veneto and South Tyrol. -
In 1969
Schinasi Insurance Brokers (formerly Hogg Robinson & Gardner Mountain Spa) is among the 10 founding members of AIBA, the trade association that currently represents 80% of Italian brokers. -
In 1982
The company became entirely Italian, strengthening its identity and relationships with major national entities, further establishing its reputation for professionalism in the industry. -
From 1983 to 1996
During these years, Schinasi consolidated its presence in the Italian market, benefiting from measured and prudent growth aimed at ensuring excellent level of service to the clients. -
In 1997
Thirty years after its founding, the second generation joined the company, represented by the founders' nephew Philippe Sainz, the current President of Schinasi Insurance Brokers. -
From 1998 to 2008
Philippe Sainz embarked on a path toward international expansion, adding prestige and recognition to an already highly regarded local market presence. -
In 2009
Schinasi Insurance Brokers GmbH was established in Vienna as a wholly-owned subsidiary. This new entity aimed to develop a domestic client portfolio and strengthen historic relationships with the industrial fabric of South Tyrol, where many companies had developed an international vocation that Schinasi sought to support through tailored international programs. -
In 2010
Schinasi expanded its territorial coverage by opening a branch in Bolzano to serve SMEs, public entities, and professionals in Trentino-Alto Adige. -
From 2011 to 2018
The company focused on placing outgoing international programs by strengthening its network of correspondents in countries where clients had branches or subsidiaries. -
In 2019
Schinasi joined Bardo, an association of credit specialist brokers. Schinasi Insurance Brokers GmbH joined Credea, an association of credit specialisty brokers, as Austrian representing member. -
In 2020
The company enhanced its national and international presence: Schinasi Insurance Brokers Srl acquired 100% of the shares of Ruberti Srl, a Veneto-based insurance broker located in a highly industrialized area close to the local entrepreneurial fabric. This acquisition aimed to further develop the market in that region. Schinasi Insurance Brokers GmbH joined Credea, an association of credit specialisty brokers, as Austrian representing member. -
In 2022
The growth strategy continued, focusing on consolidating geographic areas and strategic sectors. Schinasi took another step forward in its external growth process by acquiring Brian Brokers Srl, an insurance broker operating in Milan since 2011, specializing in coverage for real estate management companies. Furthermore, Schinasi completed the acquisition of Sirio Insurance Brokers, a firm with over twenty years of experience in the Milanese market, focusing on SMEs and high retail sectors. -
In 2023
In April, Schinasi consolidated its development plan initiated in 2020 by merging Brian Brokers, Ruberti and Sirio Insurance Brokers, which had been previously acquired. In December, the group holding company Nuova Quantico was established, resulting from the merger of Schinasi Insurance Brokers and ASB Broker, a company with over 30 years of presence in Bergamo and Brescia provinces. This operation pooled expertise and skills to consolidate and support commercial and territorial development.
